Robot-assisted 1:1 stroke intensive therapy

to improve arm, hand and leg function

Why should robotics be used in stroke therapy?

“Our brain is not - as long assumed - an unchangeable piece of hardware. Rather, it can transform itself in amazing ways and even repair itself - and that into old age."
- Norman Doidge

Nerve cells and the connections between the nerve cells are able to change their structure in order to take over functions from other areas that have been destroyed, for example, by a stroke or a cerebral hemorrhage. However, the prerequisite for this is a sufficiently high input for the brain. Many studies show that such an extremely high number of repetitive exercises can only be achieved through robotic assistance systems that the neuroplasticity of the brain is stimulated and that hand, arm and shoulder function is most likely to improve.

WE KNOW:
after a stroke, ordinary rehabilitation is usually not sufficient!

In the words of our patients:

"Thank you very much for this form of therapy! There is nothing better in Germany than your intensive therapy with these great therapists. I felt very comfortable and learned a lot.”

Bernd K.

“The therapy definitely helped me. My shoulder area and my wrist have become much more stable and the function of the fingers has also improved. Even now, about three weeks later, daily progress is noticeable, as the therapy is still having an effect and I am much more aware of my affected hand and can use it more in everyday life.”

Nicole M.

"The successes, 4 years after a stroke, have really convinced us: spasms have disappeared, pain has been reduced as far as possible, hand and arm mobility increased by more than 50%! Receive a motivational boost! So far, no rehab has come close to being able to do that.”

Alfred O.
